Pure Air Natives is committed to providing the highest quality seeds, plants, and live stakes! We want your project to succeed so we only sell PLS seed, local eco-type plants and live stakes harvested and shipped “in-season”. We guarantee species to be true to scientific name and that plants and seeds will arrive in good condition. If losses occur due to delivery delay or unfavorable weather conditions in transit, contact us at sales@pureairnatives.com.
We cannot guarantee successful growth after planting, but please let us know about any disappointments, difficulties, and learning opportunities you experience — we may be able to help. In any case, liability is limited to the cost of seed or plants purchased. No other guarantee is expressed or implied. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Order Processing & Shipping Responsibility

Plant orders are reserved upon placement; credit cards are authorized but not charged until shipment.

For large orders, a down payment will be required.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information and noting any delivery restrictions.

Undeliverable packages can be resent with additional shipping fees.
Cancellations & Returns
No cancellations or returns are guaranteed, but please let us know if your seeds or plants don’t work out. We may be able to help!

Establishing wild-type plants from seed requires specialized knowledge.

We provide free resources, including online guides, brochures, and phone consultations, to support your success.

Native seeds often need pre-treatment, and ongoing care can be complex.

We do not guarantee growth after planting, but encourage you to contact us with any concerns so we may assist where possible.

Plant Guidelines

Plants are recommended for shipping during cooler spring or fall conditions.

Shipping during the warm summer months is not guaranteed.

Plant material must be installed immediately upon receipt; if not possible, water & store temporarily in a climate controlled environment.

Our guarantee applies only to potted plants stored and installed within seven days of arrival, and does not cover those placed in larger pots or containers.
Emergence Guarantee

Potted plants are guaranteed to emerge during their first growing season when planted during the dormant season.

Spring-planted: should emerge the same season.

Spring ephemerals: may emerge and go dormant quickly, or remain dormant until the following spring (e.g., Virginia Bluebells, Shooting Stars, Trout Lilies).

Summer and fall-planted: should emerge the following spring.

Potted plants should be unboxed, watered, and planted promptly. We guarantee their health upon arrival and successful establishment after transplant, but not if moved to pots or containers.
Dormancy Notice

Native plants are affected by seasonal changes.

Spring shipments may include overwintered plants with brown foliage, which will be replaced by new growth after watering and warming.

Fall shipments may show signs of dormancy, such as dry or droopy leaves; this is normal and not indicative of plant death.

Replacements and Credits

Claims for replacements or credits must be submitted within:

30 days of delivery for potted plants.
-
60 days of the emergence period for live stakes.

To initiate a claim, send photos, site details, weather conditions, and care information to sales@pureairnatives.com.

If approved, we will attempt to ship the same item in the same season, or offer a replacement or website credit in the next season if inventory is unavailable.

Credits or replacements cannot be issued for issues beyond the initial establishment period or for subsequent failures.
