Since the seed mixes contain high ratios of native grass and wildflower seeds, they are ideal for prairie and grassland restoration projects. Additionally, the extensive root systems of grass and wildflowers also act as a natural erosion control blanket while allowing adequate air and water flow.

Works for a Variety of Soil Types

The Woodland Edge Grass & Wildflowers seed mix works for clay, loam or sandy loam soil types. Assess the soil moisture-holding capacity of your landscape before planting the seeds. Seeds need medium-wet or medium-dry soil and dapple sun full shade.

Consider planting the seed mix just before spring for the best results. Proper soil preparation and timely water supply can ensure the seeds germinate and flourish well..

Extended Range
